College of Business and Information Technology
Joseph Aranyosi has over 25 years of higher education experience and has worked in a variety of roles and industries throughout the United States.
Aranyosi joined the University of Phoenix in 2015 and currently serves as an Associate Dean in the College of Business and Information Technology, where he oversees curricula in the areas of data science, business analytics, management, project management, operations, finance, marketing and communications.
As Director of Curriculum Development at Career Education Corporation, he oversaw the development, implementation and assessment of programs in healthcare, business, IT, culinary/hospitality and design for over 40 online and residential campuses. He also provided new deans and program chairs with onboarding and support in a variety of academic and operational areas.
As Academic Dean at Gibbs College in Boston, he directed academic operations, new program development, faculty training and development, and IT administration. At Beaverbrook STEP, Inc., he was the Support Director, managing mental health services for resident patients.
He has also worked and taught at several higher education institutions, such as Northwestern University and Golden Gate University, has owned and operated several restaurants in the Phoenix area, and continues to produce art and music in his free time.
MFA in Art Theory and Practice from Northwestern University
BA in Psychology, Art History and Studio Art from the University of Richmond
Aranyosi rarely teaches these days due to his administrative and operational responsibilities, but he continues to oversee new program submissions and the development and support of curricula in the areas of data science, business analytics, management, project management, operations, finance, marketing and communications.
